A-Day Physical

Physicians Who Care sponsors medical physicals for local students participating in junior and senior high school athletic programs. Our guidelines for these physicals are based on the Alabama High School Athletic Association requirements.

Our Physicians set aside an evening each March to participate in this event. PWC could not provide this service without local volunteers, service organizations, home health and hospice agencies who provide Registered Nurses to assist with the physicals.

2021 A-Day Physicals were modified to reduce group size while still screening the athletes during the COVID Crisis. We completed 371 for our students.
